MLA3, MS6, SM Series (McCauley) applied at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics
The city of Sochi, Russia, located along the Black Sea coast, hosted the Medal Plaza at the center of the Olympic Park,
where daily award ceremonies were held. Each evening, around 20,000 spectators gathered to witness the glory of the winning athletes.
To achieve balanced, high-fidelity sound, the venue deployed 88 McCauley MLA3 line array loudspeakers, arranged into **8 arrays. Additionally, 24 McCauley MS6 high-performance subwoofers were flown in arrays to provide powerful low-frequency support.
For the stage, two columns of McCauley M.LINE compact arrays were installed for side-fill coverage. On-stage monitoring was handled by a versatile selection of McCauley SM Series loudspeakers
